I got to a similar point, but at the time was looking at ?750 for a diff that I wasn't sure about, so she got welded.
Rallying with a welded diff is hard work though, but boy was it fun!
The poor old girl is rolling (just), but needs lower control arms, track rods, wings repairing, NS door soring, NSR quarter popping out (

), spare gear box in and then painting.
Did toy with the idea of stopping rallying and just make it into a track day tool, but it won't be getting done this year. Have to work abroad a lot at the moment and house and wife takes up any tinkering time that leaves.

Miss driving the old girl!
