Default Rear brake lines

Hi all,

I thought this might be worth mentioning as we have a few "new" owners appearing on the forum.

I've noticed that a couple of people (including myself) have found the rear brake line that runs over the Axel gets seriously rotten over time, almost to the point that I have no Idea how it still works! With most of the S12's getting a pounding on the track these days it might be worth checking that this line isn't about to split and kill you![/MELODRAMA] I've never heard of one actually breaking on someone but for the sake of a couple of quid it's probably worth looking at. The one on the Jackie/Reeper project literally crumbled in places when we changed it!

Cheers Martin, I just reused the old ends and made the line up out of the stuff my old man uses on the MG's didn't measure it but it worked well

mine did fail me at 127mph, so around 120mph as my speedo was 7mph out, my foot went straight to the floor, and i only had about 60 meters before the roundabout.
