advice on mk1 ET oil filter mounting
Hi Guys,
bit of a weird one for you... im only familiar with Mk2 silvia motors that have a 90deg alloy casting that bolts to the block, onto which the oil filter screws, and then above it sits the oil cooler widget. i believe the mk1s didnt use the alloy 90deg casting, but the oil cooler was sandwiched straight to the block in between the oil filter and block? is this correct? if so has anyone got any pics? also has anyone got the fitting that screws into the block itself? the mk2s screw in but dont have a thread on the end that fits into the 90deg ally housing. pics of mk2 block EDITpic of a mk2 setup does any of that make sense to anyone ??
