Finally got round to making the mock for the BRIDE Recliner last night with the aid of a work pal. As you can see it's made of wood but it's strong enough to jump on as we tried it before we fitted it in otherwise it'd be useless.

Keeps original runners and same placement just uses the home made adapter to fit to the seat, however it needs raised a few more inches on the drivers right side in order for it to be level ( will get that fixed on Monday as the department store selling bolts is shut today ) but as you can see it sits on par with the passenger seat, no higher no lower so only sacrifice is comfort ( but it holds you in around the bends just a bit annoying it you need to reach behind you onto the back seats. )

Anyway feel free to post crude comments on the design but it'll be getting made up in proper fashion using metal so it'll be sturdier and the width will be thinner than the wood shown which in theory will lower the seat a good couple of mils. Also the runners work perfect for setting up your driving position and I've kept the bolts and spring off old seat so if I need to swap seats it's simple and uncomplicated.
