thinking back, i'am just wondering if the kyb's came with new tops.

yes they did mate,the caps you cut off are probably different to standard caps

if you are trying to use the standard caps and the ones the kybs came with are different which they probably are then that must be the problem

yeah they do, i've bin in touch with kyb and they are locating me some new ones.
