I've stripped an ET bottom end completely for the first time recently and the rods are really puny, the pistons seem to be made of cheese too. IMO the simple upgrade to DET rods and pistons is well worthwhile as they are proven to over 300bhp |

ok maybe i simplified a bit too much, but honing the bores and fitting new rings should always be done anyway. big ends are the same, you should always use new bearings

my actuator signal is taken from the plenum, not the turbo housing or boost pipes
