So what about getting the bores rehoned and do they fit straight onto the et crank?

ok maybe i simplified a bit too much, but honing the bores and fitting new rings should always be done anyway. big ends are the same, you should always use new bearings

my actuator signal is taken from the plenum, not the turbo housing or boost pipes

Do you not get wicked boost spike having the pipe that long?

hadnt thought of that, but yes you could well do if running it direct to the actuator. my actuator signal goes from the plenum, thru an Audi TT boost solenoid then to actuator and is controlled by the ecu. Your Omex new should be able to it too. makes it possible to alter boost infinitely thru the rev range and removes spikes.

Well il be using my mbc valve inline until i get an electronic boost controller

afaik the boost solenoids have a oneway valve in them.
