Sounds good. Where abouts in the midlands are you?

Claire has a civic and to be honest those radiators are very small. Your probably best going for the one Adzs12 is saving up for.Pm him.

Any chance of some pictures of the old girl? Ive only ever seen it in your signature

Has every piper regrind cam youve dialled in been adjusted be the same amount on the pulley Martin?

Im in Redditch in Worcestershire.

Sure no problem i will take some piccies tomorrow and post them. The intercooler fills the bay. I was thinking of getting this radiator:

will that be good enough?

Right!!....off to pick up the rest of my bits. The ex is on the warpath tonight and things are getting thrown!

With a powerfull electric fan like a kenlowe or pacet,an expansion tank(the std s12 one would be suitable) and a 300zx thermostat you would be fine imo,

APEX have an aftermartet S13 rad on a group buy going pretty cheap I think.

The adjustment on the pulley will never be the same due to engineering tolerances.

I estimate it will take at least 5 hours to remove rockers, lift engine, remove cam, wack new cam and seal in, chase rocker threads, install rockers, do a cold clearance setup, dial cam in, then do a hot clearance setup.

Yeah and Adam as well.

Ive never measured differences, I just get them dialed in but never looked at differences, but there always will be, when you consider deck height, head gasket thicknesses, head skimming etc. I doubt any tolerances from Piper would hardly be measurable

The problem i have is that the intercooler i am fitting is 100mmx300mmx600mm! So the radiator will need to be a size to fit behind that and not snag on the engine ancillaries. I need one that isnt to fat width ways because of the intercooler piping. Also im not keen on havingone sit flush with the intercooler because of heat soak.

Sounds like people are after your skills martin! I will wait my turn if you want to do it that is! I am looking forward to putting it all together and seeing what it can do.

So no one likes that radiator I am looking at then?
