Look at the inner wing by the bulkhead passenger side. The reference for the standard boost guage is mounted there from what i can remember. Listen out for any hissing at idle. It sounds like you have a vacuum/boost leak

yeah does feel like a vacuum just wasn't sure where the pipe was! can't really listen for hissing as gotta k&n and straight through exhaust with a couple small blows and really annoying tapping noise from the manifold where the studds have pulled out! its not because the manifold blow though as tightened it best i could earlier and it stopped blowing for while bit made no difference! will have a look for wot u mentioned in a bit!

mine had this a short time ago, i had a split in the pipe that goes to the boost gauge sensor/sender, the pipe for that is a very small pipe from the junction above the brake servo, then follows along the bulk head through a valve thingy (bout 25mm diameter) into a another small pipe then into the sensor/sender, mine was split by the valve.
