If he wont allow you to spend an hour on it then he cant be that bothered to sell it. It would run like sh*t and be so noisy that you wouldnt be able to hear any problems happening if there was any. Also you wouldnt know if the turbo was any good. Either buy it in trust or stay clear. If you do buy it all you can do is check it has a spark,compression test it and see if it turns over and you can hear the fuel pump. Maybe multimeter the batter to see if its nakered too

sounds to me like he dont want you to hear it before you take it, maybe knock the price a little on that hes not being very helpful in his own sale.
from the pic thou, the rest of the car does look quite clean and sound. **Free plug for silviagod.** also i personally would put the extra money to this car below, the guy selling it is prolly one of the most honest guys in the S12 community, and he does know the s12s well, i would say if hes selling it as a good car, then thats what it is. and its running. http://www.nissansilvia.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=1739 **EDIT** i just saw your post  he did say he knows of 2 others.

He said he dosnt have the time to stick around for us to use his drive??? lol
He has dropped the price in all fairness  Im trying to sort a trailor out, and go pick it up The car does look straight and sound, so its not a big deal if the engine needs atention! Just havent really got the time to stck another one in.
