I've got S13 coilovers on the rear of the Datsun, but its an easy job compared to the S12. The S12 will require a lot of fabrication to get the tops to bolt in, and then ideally a cage in place to strengthen the area where the tops would bolt in. The area there's isnt designed to take the weight of the car there.
I would consider KYB's then if you want it comfy as a daily driver, coz the S13 coilovers will be tough unless they have a particularly soft spring rate

oh ok, thats to much work for me to do
![]() So i guess its kyb s13 fronts and a set of uprated s12 srings on the rear ![]() Will i have to get some brackets made up for the s14 or z32 calipers? |

No, the calipers go straight onto the hubs

![]() ![]() I have just been scouting about the sxoc and its acheap upgrade ![]() The going rate for s14 and z32 calipers is £120 and they normaly have the pads and disks with them ![]() Thanks again for the info. No doubt i will be asking a few more questions closer to the time of changing them over. Im off to dream about suspension and brake conversions now lol |
