so if i get a set made up, do i really need to worry bout left to right difference???
and if i get say 450lbs for the front, and 400lbs for the rear, that is better for power starts (thats how i read you post, forgive me if im wrong), im not into drifting in any way, i like my 4 wheels stuck to the ground.

thats what i'am thinking of, any idea what lenght the rear springs would have to be, if your using 400lbs rear, obviously shorter than the avo ones which are about 10 inch.

We dont really have anything here to reference too Im guessing they would sag less under the cars weight if they were stronger. I suppose its trial and error.Il let umpkin be the ginue pig then il make my decision
![]() Even shorter springs would mean that the rear end would probably need to be strapped using old seat belt or something so that the springs dont fall out when you jack it up Have you found somewhere that custom winds springs then?

den has got some nice straps on his, they are steel wire in a clear plastic sleave, i have a place 3 miles from me who costom wind springs.

they make the spring so that one end of the spring is weaker until the car is sat on it, so they fill the gap without being loose, but then go down far enuf for the right ride height, if that makes sense, mine are -1" atm, have no ties on them, and are just loose when jacked up, but wont fall out.

Oh I have Mk1 springs on the rear. The Avo's were too low for me. Tyres caught arches slightly and the car was lower on the arse end.
What I didn't realise was that L and R are different.... I just stuck them in randomly ![]()
