den has got some nice straps on his, they are steel wire in a clear plastic sleave, i have a place 3 miles from me who costom wind springs.

they make the spring so that one end of the spring is weaker until the car is sat on it, so they fill the gap without being loose, but then go down far enuf for the right ride height, if that makes sense, mine are -1" atm, have no ties on them, and are just loose when jacked up, but wont fall out.

Oh I have Mk1 springs on the rear. The Avo's were too low for me. Tyres caught arches slightly and the car was lower on the arse end.
What I didn't realise was that L and R are different.... I just stuck them in randomly

surely after market ones dont have a difference between sides??? im sure when i got my last set they had no makings between sides.
