That's not quite true but it's still worth signing.
Currently if your car is pre 74 then you no longer need to pay road tax. They are not abolishing that law, the petition is to extend the date from pre 74 to a later date (probably up to 82 ish so that cars that are over 25 will once again not be required to be Road taxed) Also the closing date of the Petition is 31st of May and not March. I've signed it as I think it's still a good idea!
