when the original law came in it was for all vehicles over 25 years old, then they realised it was to cost them a lot of money as there was a lot of old cars still on the roads, so they then changed it again, and locked it to 1973 (the current year at the time) i think its only fair to update this as its now very out of date, and could also benefit me

They won't change it back though. Once they take something away you'll never get it back.

They want the old cars off of the road so doubt they'll change it.
