Shame about the turbo, does sound like a something has broken off in the tubular manifold, it wouldnt take much, just a blob of weld probably.

ebay turbos are always a risk. Shame
. Possibly just save up and get a recon t3 or t28 hybrid.

Wasn't the turbo, was a piece of the manifold i reckon. Its a few years old now so time to go back to a standard one but am fabricating a big adapter so it can be hung under as normal, am going to put pics so other guys can see a way round having to weld to the standard manifold.
The comp test was: no 1 -152 no 2 -150 no 3 -151 no 4 -147 so well happy with that the motor thats in will have done about 65/70 thousand miles now i reckon( just run in then lol ) Also going to recon the t3 saab 9000 16v turbo unit that was on before the big fooka, as plan to make the adapter bolt on-off. updates to follow.
