I didnt have a vent in mine there. if it had a vent there there would not be any point in having the controller attached to the top port.I would Leave the vent out. Just be careful as im sure you will when you first test it.Get a nice big boost gauge right in front of your face in 1psi increments

im off to emerald in norfolk at 530am tomorrow so hopefully itll all be ok. i have put the vent in, so will take it out when i get there. cheers again for the help.

on my greddy profec b spec 2, the solenoid has 3 ports, you alter the way the pipes attach, for if you have ex wastegate or actuator, if you have your set up ie: external, you run the pipes parralell and the center one vent to atmosphere, top of the actuator goes to (com) on the selonoid which is the one thats on the side and runs parralell to the other, the other one that runs parralell goes to a pressure source ie: the comp housing on the tubby, you also t into this one and connect it to the bottom opening on the wastegate,then the front of the solenoid vent to atmosphere.
