no mate, no money, i don't know if the ones that are still availible, would be suitable, thats a lot of duration , i know nothing about camshafts.the std valve springs are shite as well, so i need to find something to fit.

Some serious durations there, which I assume are more directed towards the FJ20E

Best to only consider the 268 or 280 cams.

the only thing with the 280's, is they only lift to 9.5mm, but when the head was on the flow bench, the head kept flowing the higher the lift, some engines just stop flowing, no matter how high you lift the valve, i was wanting something like 10mm or 10.5mm lift, it did flow even higher figuers at 11mm, but i din't quote the cfm for that. as knowone ever made a cam that high.i should of bought diggles old cams for cheap, but din't know they were for sale until they had gone.

What cams were diggles using then?

You could always get those Jun cams reground for more lift.

i think they were either 272's or 276's, with 10mm lift, they are on the for sale section on fj20.com, they were made by kelford cams at christchurch newzeland, they are std cams, but HARD WELDED then reground, is this a shite way of doing it ?

They could also change the duration so long as you was going from more less as well... hate to see the bill at the end though

Thats the normal way of doing a custom cam by using the original cam. But that will probably cost more than a basic regrind
