the shafts come out if you wedge summet inbetween the diff and the shaft. then tap it, but it would be a cnut to put them back in once its back in place, you only have to drop it sideways away from the exhaust, it is a bit of a lump to feck about with on ya back under the car, i used the jack and the one of my daughters to hold it in place as i jacked it up, as long as it din't drop on me it was ok lol,

Thanks for your reply mate.
I did manage to tap them out like you said in the end they was just a bit stiff, probably not been touched in years!! It is a horrible job pulling it out on your back in the garage, im not looking forward to putting it back in!!
