Already checked for an air leak and orange turbo to turbo pipe seal is ripped so got on ordered £24 Ordered some nissan HT leads, distributor, rotar arm and some NGK BCPR7's.
Temperature seems to be running too low as well so ordered a new thermostat and coolant temp sensor.
As for the low idle when cold cleaned out the air regulator but no joy and nissan want £100 for a new one so might give that a miss for a while!

I'll wait for the parts to land in work an let you know how it goes!

I had a similar problem and it turned out my leads were shagged.

New ones from Nissan (£58) but worked a treat.
Strangely, Halfrauds list them at £39 a set, but say that they have no supplier to order them from

I also found the air filter to be upside-down, so christ knows how much shit got in there.

My new HT leads cost £12.50 from a friendly motor factors, but I'm still having this problem. Well it was missing on boost, so got cooler plugs and it was fine on boost but now misses below 2K rpm.

new quality leads going on soon!

All the bits fitted an seems to be running better but still not 100%. Found the bleed valve couldn't be adjusted as its seized so chucked that. Went for a blast to Ikea with the misses an seems to run smoother (but slower!!) and temperatures good now but still a bit lumpy? Oh well its better than it was so thanks for help!

I would still check the idle CO hasn't been set too lean to pass the mot as this made my idle very lumpy and the car jerky to drive, also incorrect valve clearances made my car run rougly so meet be worth checking
