does anyone know what the story is with insurance if not a uk national? i'll be moving after xmas (hopefully) from ireland and have 7 yrs no claims here but that will hardly carry with me. i've heard i have to be in the country 6 months before i can be quoted. any truth to this?

i got two new quotes today, my lancia with a 2.0 intergrale turbo lump in it, 740 quid!
well expensiive, and a quote on a silvia same age etc as my last one 462 quid fully comp  im 24 no no claims, high risk job, 6points for speeding with adrian flux

Those are both pretty good quotes
.It`s just a shame that we can`t get free road tax on the s12, now that would be a good saving  .Regards, Ian.
