I take it youve got a welded diff then, or a LSD as my silvia wont hold a drift due to the open diff trying to straighten me out.

sites page http://www.heronspark.com/
calendar http://www.heronspark.com/RunScript....&p=ASP\Pg4.asp The entry for the fist corner is pretty darn fast, however you could skip that one and from there on in they are not so quick. There isnt much room to the rather tough looking earth banks at the side mind if you get is badly wrong. Makes for a great spectator track as you can be sprayed by bits of rubber as the cars go past ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1BQbP2OGl0

The difference here is what some people call a drift, letting the back step out on a junction isnt going to cut the pie, i pesonally think the standard diff isnt up to the job, or maybe im expecting too much from a 20year old car.

Open diff is just about acceptable for doing a roundabout in wet conditions, a VLSD will help alot in the wet and you can do transitioning but ultimately a locked or mech diff are ultimately whats required certainly for anything dry.
You get so much more control and predictability with a locked diff. You never know if an open diff will let both wheels spin, just one and for how long it will hold 2 spinning wheels for. It will piss you off on a practice day doing that so you're best get the welder out if you want to make the best of the practice day.
