Okay cheers just looking at a few now, ive got my eye on two rover 220 fans and a sierra one which is more expensive, but ill c how it goes.

a single 12" fan is enough for the s12.

To be honest it doesnt bother me which fan i go for as long as they fit and are cheap.
Using a single 12" would be better i think though just for ease of installation.
