Default fuel pump

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I went to start up my s12 today (for the first time in about 3 years ), checked all fluids which were all okay and turned the engine over by the bottom pulley (to make sure it was rotating freely).

Put some petrol in and turned the key. The engine is turning over fine, I have strong sparking on all the plugs, but the fuel pump isn`t working at all. I checked for continuity at the wiring, that`s not the problem. So I was wondering if I can pinch the fuel pump off my 200sx. Does anyone know if it`s a straight swap or not ?

Thanks in advance .
Regards,
Ian.

It wont be a straight swap but nothing complicated as as the walbro 255 fits in the same manner between all the 200's . Just have some zip ties to hand.........

Either that or put a wanted ad up. Im sure someone will have a spare you could buy for a tenner

Thanks for that Jon .

I only need to move the car half a mile, from my drive to my Unit. So if I can bodge it together, it should be fine . I`m planning on uprating the pump as part of the re-build, so I will be replacing it eventually for a new walbro or bosch unit.

Just hope the brake calipers are serviceable now, I haven`t checked them yet...LOL......

Regards,
Ian.
