They bolt on if you use S13 lower arms and hubs. Might also want to swap Steering rack so that you can use S13 Track Rod ends as the S12 ones are a pig to get hold of and don't offer as good adjustment with S13 hubs.

You don't have to use the S13 arms and with the steering you need both the track rods and ends off an S13 and then they need shortening.

well i have started this... got cuts all over my hands and arms my back is killing and 4 showers after i last touched it i am still covered in oil so it must be going well
![]() bit confused on what wires go were tho... especially about the 3 green relays ![]() and some one has hid the ecu on the s12... just started getting some more money in as well so getting tempted to take the engine to stage 2 but a bit dubious of wether the gearbox would end up in the boot or not... |

starting to lose heart with this again...
Engine still isnt in... Jacked up the back end the other day took a wheel off and the springs arnt attached to the car or the subframe in any way... (was their some sort of clamp on them as standerd?).... the brake pads and discs are non existant (no biggy just a PITA)... found the ecu (who would have thought it was were it was supposed to be)... found the cabling for it... found its been re-sprayed when it was stripped... ![]() and to cap it all my new jack will only go under the back end if i put 40psi in the tyres because its about 6mm too high... over a year and i still havent drove it... |

Hiya mate, stick at it, it will be worth it in the end
![]() The rear springs are not attached to the car, they just sit in rubber seats. That`s why people that have lowered springs can have the problem of the rear springs falling out when the car is jacked up ![]() I had the same problem jacking my car up (when it was lowered), a trolley jack wouldn`t go underneath. Either get a mate to lift the back of the car up a little so you can get the jack under, use the standard scissor jack to raise the back up a bit first, or invest in a good quality low entry trolley jack (whch is what I had to do). I know it`s a pain, but keep going ![]() Regards, Ian.

rubber bottom seats are knackerd... and its lowered 35mm so that could be why they dropped so much i guess... isnt spring security a mot issue tho? seem to rember on the s14 when one spring came loose it failed the mot...
just spent stupid money on a jack i cant evean lift but it will happily raise anything from the s12 to the van right off the ground ![]() |
