the cables on either side seize but not heard of any trouble with the one from the lever. Try a local parts shop that stocks adl/blueprint as they still list parts for the Silvia

I got some new brake stuff from this place, ther link was in the link section.
Good place to deal with.  http://www.brakesint.co.uk/budweg.html Front cabel is about £20 and the bit for each wheel is about £40. I think it was you northerner who posted it up origenly.  Cheers dude

cheers for the info guys, I'll jack the car up and have a proper look myself and see the problem. Adl and blueprint supplier is only 30 miles away, got a few parts from them before ( MOT ) trouble was abit expensive....but if it fixes my handbrake, sorted.
