Default Help for fitting my EBC

Hi,

Finally i'll save enough money for an EBC.

I need to know where can i attach such wire (specially the parking cable (ground or 12v?) and ignition (ACC wire or starter wire?)

Here a pic in the manual:

BCU+ is the name of the EBC.

Thanks.

I found myself how to fit the wires .

Now I need to fit this:

By my mouth, seems easier to push air left to right; seems because not like pcv valve which block the air.

Thanks.

Finally I founded how this piece fits like the GReddy profec B one.

The settings is hard to get.
Can you give me what number must be for my set up: large air filter, front mounted medium size intercooler, 2.5 piping, cold spark, stock healthy T2, 2.5 exhaust line.

My desired boost is 12 psi.

I need:

-Gain in %: ?

-Start boost: ?
star boost is at what psi the the wastegate begins to open, example if you boost setting is 10 psi and your start setting is 2 psi; the wastegate will begin to open at 8 psi

Thanks...

Ok i set 75% for the gain, and 10 psi for start boost but need to be tuned.

Something strange too: i read 12 psi on my boost gauge and 14/14.3 range and my EBC.

Which one to believe? (same boost source)

Hope it isn't an one person thread...

Instead of creating a new thread i'd like to ask if in 8/10 psi boost range on T2, is it normal to have red hot color on the exhaust manifold (first time i saw it in the night condition), seems dangerous to me what about your advice?

thanks

i found that if you go to high on gain, then you get the boost creeping over your desired psi, i use 16% gain, then set the psi to what you want.

The fact is even i let the gain to 38, now desired psi 10, start boost at 7, 8 or 9 range, the boost doesn't go to 10psi, 6.6 maximum on the electronique device, same thing on boost gauge .

2 manipulations to go to reach the 10 psi:
- raise the gain up to 70%
- false the desired psi to 14 psi for having 10 psi.

What about our exhaust manifold, red color isn't good at such psi right? Seems the start boost for me perhaps to increase the boost by spooling the T2 too much.

thx

is your ignition timing ok, to much retard can increase your exhaust temp, or fueling, then again my top mount did glow red on the dyno.

I'am in 14/15° range at idle motor and oil temp like 90°

By fuel you mean too much fuel? Because i'm still with stock injectors and stock fuel pressure.

Perhaps our stock ECU runs very rich in 5500 revs area.

Thanks guys

hmmmn, so applying the handbrake (and presumeably turning off the ignition) prompts the turbo timer ?
