Rite i have a problem. Only a small one though.
The radiator fan is wired directly to the conncetor in the engine bay, where the battery used connect to. Which is now connceted straight to the battery in the boot. Then there is a switch, on a long strech of wire in the car, which is connected to the negative wire of the fan. When the fan is off, it runs fine. Idles like a champ, and has no problems. As soon as i switch it on, it starts to missfire and wont idle at all. I orginally thought it was a drain, but none of the wires get hot, and the head lights, dash lights and interior light dont dim at all. Any ideas chaps?? |

wire the fan in independantly.
dont add it to a bunch of wires, or add it to an existing block. youll find there is a wire that runs into that block, that if its corroded or loose etc makes the car run like a bag of shit. make sure ALL the wires and wired in securely. ADZ... finally got to say it ![]() |

have you connected it to another power cable?
or wire the fan with a connector dirrect to the battery terminal? if so then it must be your earth mate. or a faulty fan. |
