external
I think il get one but im planning of using a racing fuel cell so can I easely modify the walbro to work as an external fuel pump?

I'm gonna be using 2 in parallel in the tank.
It's an easy fitment, just make sure its at the bottom of the cradle

What are your conclusions/views on that running 2 idea.
Are you running the second pump through the first one? or will they join at a t piece? are you doing it for reliability or because 255ph wont be enough?

Run them in parallel not in series, so yeah a tee piece.
It seems that as people are approaching say 500bhp they go for like 2 Bosch 044's, a swirl pot and all that crap. I can't be arsed with that. Thing is, I don't know what the limit of the 255 pump is, and I don't think anyone does so they just make a fuel system probably capable of sorting out Apollo 11's rockets. I'll be running 2 bar of boost, so the pressue in the fuel system will reach a max of 4.5 bar of pressure. The pump is rated by flow, but can it actually flow at those pressures. The flow just recircs around in the system with the pressure reg acting as the restriction. What would be more handy to know is what the maximum pressure the pump can handle and at what flow rates. Other than that I'm just assuming most people are guessing they need all these fuel pumps. There's even a 200sx on SXOC with 3 bosch 044's!

lot of the rally cars use 2 x 044s but its as much about reliability as outright power requirements, you can run a 330hp WRC on one 044 if one fails but it stops dead if you only have one fitted lol.
Guess they must use non return valves too or in the event of a pump failure the other pump wouldnt pump properly? flow and pressure rates all seem a bit subjective to me, so i think youre right, if peeps think 1 pump might be marginal, they go for two
