Default S13 Roll Cage

'think it would fit a '12 ?

Before anyone moans, yes it's more for the lulz but it's not-fia so doesn't weigh as much and my s12 will be going down the track route so it would be in keeping.

Well, from what I'm aware of, it wont fit directly. I would suggest taking out your interior and fitting it in but I am sure you will have to do some amount of modification to make it work right since the interiors are a bit different but overall, decently similar.

Would be interesting to see how far off it is and how much it needs to be modified to fit.

May be a cheaper route to getting caged than a bespoke item.

I know that the s13 is a little bit wider (on the outside) than the silvia. But not too sure about the inside. However, when i was modding an s13 dash to fit the s12, I had to cut about an inch off each end of the dash to make it fit . So the s13 cage will probably be a bit too big for an s12. Hope that helps a bit .
Regards,
Ian.

At the end of 2007 apex performance started doing a rear roll cage for the s13 for about £160 but did a group buy for about £130. They said they were doing a front cage that would bolt on to the rear cage but it was still in development so would come later. Early last year they Said they did a group buy for the front cage to get numbers so they knew how many people wanted the front to go with the back they already had. They didnt take payment till about september last year but they still werent ready..... My mate had ordered one and finally the other day they rang him to tell him that had made all the front cages but found out that wouldnt fit with the rear cages that they had already sold . There solution is to offer people new full cages in return for there old rear cage. Once my mate takes him out i will see about modifing it to fit to the s12 if it can be done i will give apex a ring and make a deal with them as have a rear cage collected from the isle of man will cost about how much the cage is worth in postage..... so there could be quite a few second hand cages up for offer
