Mine always seemed to run fine on 95, incidentally. No idea what long term problems it could cause. I've always planned on going DET (200SX 1.8 16v Turbo) so didn't really care tbh.

Well i foned a guy who skims cylinder heads and he says that it should run fine on 97 ron as long as im not going on extended journeys as the unleaded burns alot hotter and could eventually damage the valve seats so it should be fine.

Just wanna say thanks again for all the help and info guys

Just need to find some nice style 15 inch wheels for it now not diggin the standard rims look too much like wheel trims lol.

when i first got mine i was concerned about this, but i spoke to an engine place, and they said that as its a turbo engine, will will have the same valve seat inserts that an unleaded engine has. also use 97 super unleaded, because it causes less damage than 95 premium unleaded, seems the lower octane make it burn faster and hotter, also can cause the timming to be out on 95 ron (tis only a fraction)

also the higher octane can protect the turbo engine from detonation.
