Default Poly Rear Sub Frame Bushes

Hi All
No doubt this subject has been done to death somewhere on here. However I have not found a solution to it yet, I have follwed this thread which covers the other bushes on the rear, however what I really would like are a set of rear main Poly Subframe bushes.

http://www.nissansilvia.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=1869

Fitted Poly bushes to my S13, what a difference, however as we know these bushes are a little smaller so wont fit, unless a collor could be made?

I have been in touch with Chris at 'Conceptua Tuning' who has been vey helpful in the past in sourching parts. He is going to make some enquiries about having some made. I have offered him a spare rear sub frame I have to use as a templet. 'Superpro' is who he is using.
However, He needs to know what interest there would be if he was to go ahead & if it would be worth while. Not sure on price yet, might depend on interest, numbers wanted ect. might be a deposit envolved if anyone was interested.

www.coneptua-tuning.co.uk

I am now keen to have sorted as my rear wheel baring is on its way out, so will need replacing soon. So while the subframe is dropped, might as well do the bushes, along with any other jobs that crop up.

So anyone interested at all?

Daz

Default Rear bushes

Daz,

If you get no joy with 300zx bushes then count me in for a set from chris.
I'm stripping my S12 down this summer and going to poly bush everything for peace of mind and performance.

Let us know if you get anywhere dude.

Cheers
Si

Default S12 Bushes

Hi Si
Will do, I have already passed the Z31 info on to Chris(Conceptua tuning). They already do the rear anti-role bar bushes, which I have fitted now. He does it as a complete lit which include bolts, bushs spacers. Very good quality, so would expect the same for what ever he may come up with for the rest of the subframe bushes

Burning the bush out sounds like a lot of work, tried it on my S13, However I was able to sourch someone who had the kit to press the whole bush out in the end.

Have just tried to insert photo, as you can see it didn't work??????????? any tips, is it the system of somethink I am doing?

if you press the bushes out, i'am sure the holes will be too big for the bushes, well they are with the superflex bushes listed for the z31,i'd burn them out, leaving the sleeve in.

isnt conceptua tuning that one from ebay, charges £40 for the set??? MJP autos charges £17 for the same kit.

http://www.nissansilvia.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=3707 for the MJP subframe bushes fitted.

does anyone have a subframe that is removed from the car that they could measure the diameter of the subframe bush hole, and ill measure the diameter of the subframe bush i have sitting here. not that i doubt Northerners how to, but just for your piece of mind.

**EDIT** The bushes i have are for a 84-89 300zx Diameter of the bush is 76.2mm ish They are made by Prothane from the USA.

Also on Club s12 they are recommending the Prothane z31 bushes for the s12, and also stated that the s12 bushes they sell also fit the z31. dont buy from MMR as they have very bad feedback.

Default Rear Bushes

I do have a complete car I will be breaking at some point this yr, when I get a chance, Was planning on using that subframe as a templete. Looking at your link, Northerner has it sorted. it looks like the Z31s are a straight fit, & with out leaving the old bush coller in.
Are the other bushes a straight fit, or do we need to keep the old metal coller in once the rubbers been burnt out.
