Default lowering springs..

is there any point buying lowering springs without buying uprated shocks too? only i've heard of springs cracking with the standard s12 shocks.

also, how much do shocks go for? or better yet, a whole 4 corner setup? i saw a link to a club-s12 thread a while ago where bartco was building/selling setups for a reasonable price, but he's gone awol.

Go with KYB Gas a Justs for a budget, they work good. Get some 280ZX front lowering springs and Z31 rears and you're set to go. Pretty good price overall.

i put avo springs in my s12 with standard shocks, and it was loads better handling for grip and drifting, and none of them snapped was a bit bouncy when drifting tho i think uprated shocks are fairly expensive?

i used avo springs on the old shocks for about 5 years, no probs, i've now got kyb's all round and new avo's also got the poly bushes for the rear, they are the same as the 280zx and z31 items.

where can you get the rear poly bush kits from? how much are they? what parts do they supply? eg subframe mounting/anti roll bar/trailing arm

s13eater, which kyb's have you got on the front? I looked at kyb's parts catalog and they only have a part number for rear gas-a-justs. Are you on GR-2's?

they are the same as the 280zx kyb's ones on the front, the superflex bushes where 100 quid for the rear, but that din't include the big subframe bushes, i got, 2 D 24mm anti roll bar bushes, 8 small bushes for the ends of the anti roll bar, and all the bushes for the trailing arms, which is 8 because each 1 is in 2 halfs,i had ally inserts made for the main subframe bushes and used 240z poly bushes inside.
