i spoke to my brother & he said you can tow a car up the motorway with an a-frame or a bar it might be a cheaper option if you know some1 with a towbar, he wont know about the transporter until monday

Pukkas right, its Illegal to tow on the MW with a rope but a bar or frame is OK. Don't risk it with a rope as the cops will give you a ticket!
