1) You will almost certainly find it impossibile to find an "off the shelf" exhaust for an S12 so custome all the way ie; Powerflow, Longlife etc.
2) My S12 wasn't especially "turboy" it just kinda has a second wind around 1500-2000 revs but it's a tiny turbo and not running all that much boost. Not to mention 130bhp from new (so probably about 100 now).. ![]() 3) You're only real option is either some custom affair or BC Coilovers. BC are actually pretty good but yeah you need S13 hubs. The rear is a seperate adjustable dampner and a regular spring with a machined adjustable seat, similar to the adjustable sections of a coilover. People arwe always like "OMGBBGCOPTER teh shit etc" at the S12 IRS but I don't see why they moan so much...

Cheers for the replies lads
Aye thought it'd have to be a custom effort. What sort of exhaust would you say I'd need to get? Like measurements, straight pipe etc? Aye I was reading a bit about coilovers, seems I pretty much need to get S13 hubs, lca's and other parts? Would the rears be hard to change over to S13? Yeah I seen aswell there's a company called megan coilovers that sell a set suitable for our cars with the rear springs seperated already. I'd love to get coils, wonder how hard it'd be. Haha what'd you mean by "OMGBBCOPTER!"? Lost me there. Ahh S13 eater, could you keep me posted about that exhaust your mate might be selling then? Are scorpion exhausts good? Meant to ask aswell, would you know if he'd have a sunroof latch for the inside as mine is broke and cant close it properly. Cheers again for help here lads! Chris |

Look down after the multiple options for suspension at the Megan Coilover information. There is actually a bit on the Rear Coilover setup and how to correct it. |

To get coilovers in the rear seems quite difficult....would a mechanic know or would you need to know the S12 itself?

To fit coilovers to the rear, you would need to weld in some new strut perches in the floor/inner arches which would be a major job. The easiest would be to weld a perch on each trailing arm and use some separate coils and uprated shocks. I think Shauns doing this atm...

See this is what I saw and fancied getting.... or even if I could get the car set up to accept S13 coilovers. Who's Shaun on here? See there's no way I could attempt it myself as I'd botch it completely but I dont even think your normal mechanic would know what to do as its a different set up to most cars. : ( |
