Having been in such a position before, I can honestly say I found nothing that didn't either,

- Catch Fire
- Fall Out
- Get Blown Out
- Make A Mess

It doesn't take too long as a job, assuming everything comes apart properly... The fiddly bit, as always is the manifold! I have lost count of the turbo gaskets I have done on S-Bodies :'(

give mike tanski a ring at ferriday engineering, he still has the pattern for copper gaskets, i got them done out of 2mm and they never blew again.

thanks, will do that - might as well while i'm there!

just trying to muffle the noise for now, i'm sure the ceramic wrap will do the job nicely for the time being - can hardly make it any worse!

while we're kinda on the subject - does anyone know what the water/oil fittings are? might make up some braided lines.
