 you can tell its spring we found the bonnet listed on ebay a while ago.. we contacted the seller and bought it out of the auction cheap as it had started to corrode and the vent had cracked away from the bonnet.

me and jon have just been outside and weighed a mk2 std bonnet on a set of digital scales
 ... it weighed 22kg Our estimated weight for the finsihed product is a mere 3kg we are hoping to produce the first bonnet next friday (26th)

Should be a fortnight after Jae i recon. Initial outlay of £ has been hard due to things like buggered headgasket and gone wrong respray and forgetting i had a deadline to pay the remainder of a holdiday to teneriffe to pay for
