we found the bonnet listed on ebay a while ago.. we contacted the seller and bought it out of the auction cheap as it had started to corrode and the vent had cracked away from the bonnet.

me and jon have just been outside and weighed a mk2 std bonnet on a set of digital scales... it weighed 22kg

Our estimated weight for the finsihed product is a mere 3kg

we are hoping to produce the first bonnet next friday (26th)

Should be a fortnight after Jae i recon. Initial outlay of £ has been hard due to things like buggered headgasket and gone wrong respray and forgetting i had a deadline to pay the remainder of a holdiday to teneriffe to pay for

where abouts at teneriffe are you going jon ?

Jon and I are going to 'Playa Las Americas' if thats how you spell it, right at the end of August until 2nd week in September.

I have heard it is a bit of a concrete jungle, so Jon has plans of escaping into the Wilderness by hiring out a Jeep. Not sure if I am going to let him try and drive up the mountain yet.

mount tede, don't know how its spelt, was right behind the hotel that i stayed in, i went with stell about 11 years ago, enjoyed it though, los cristianos is at the other end of the beach.

Yeah 'Mount Tiede' its not far behind the place we are staying in. Would you advise that Jon doesn't try to drive up it.

Could you walk to Los Cristianos from where you stayed or was it too far? I can't wait to go on hoilday now.

it was about 40 mins steady walk to los cristianos,i'd get him to walk up , when we were there nigel benn was doing his training up and down there, preparing for a fight.there's a aquapark in playa as well, big water flumes etc.
