you can't miss it,its got a pipe on it that has a rubber hose that goes to the original turbo to inlet pipe, it has 2 screws in it and a electrical connection,it also has the cold start onto it.

yep thats it mate, you need to try another unit, don't ring nissan for a price as you may pass out
they are £300 +vat well thats what i was once quoted, i'am not saying that is the prob for deffinate, but that is the idle speed compensator for the electrics.

There's more chance of something coming from mars than finding a secondhand one or one in a breakers. I think the DET conversion I keep thinking about will have to become more than thought as I can get hold of a DET with the turbo, ecu, loom and ancilleries for £300, all be it the bigends will need doing but I'd do them on a DET anyway, from a local breakers.
