headlight issues..

hey guys,

i've just got a replacement headlight from s13eater... but im having trouble getting it to work. i think its the down retract relay, but here's whats happening:

when i manually retract the lights, then click the pop-up switch, both go up and then one (the new one) goes back down immediatley.
if i turn off the switch, nothing moves (the old one stays up)
if i turn it back on, again nothing.. etc..

any ideas?

also, how do you test relays and where can you buy them if needed?

scrapyard for relays,take the ones you need probaly all 6(some will be same pins and colour) then say you want one off a nissan and put a load in your pocket and buy one,or say you want a wing off of sumat and get the relays that way.
