yep weld a outlet on your pipework preferably around 2 inches or so away from where it bolts to the inlet manifolds throttle body. Then the reference pipe that needs to go on top of the dump valve can connect up to a disused blanked outlet that you can find attached to the bulkhead above the hydraulic clutch fluid pot

but the inlet pipe is alloy is it not and i dont know anyone who can weld alloy. Could i solder it? would it be strong enough? The t piece i was talking about as like this also would the dump valve be ok?

not the inlet manifold, (yes that is alloy) you weld it in the crossover pipe, that connects onto the turbo, over the engine, then fits onto the throttle body and the idle managment, if someone already has one fitted to the crossover pipe, can they post it up for these guys please, i have my DV on my cozzie IC.

when i bought my car, the pipe outlet for the DV was welded at where the red arrow points, at the back side to the idle supply pipe.

i have my dump valve on that little black pipe that comes of the boost pipe. i just used a t piece from a plumbers and a bit if samco. no need to weld and looks and works well enough

Ive just fitted my dump valve. Ive done it the way you suggest for now and mounted it on the black pipe that comes off the boost pipe. Will this give the same effect as putting it on the boost pipe itself as its not very loud. Or do i just need to adjust the tension on the dump valve spring?? Its a baileys dv26
