Default S12 spotted!

Was anyone driving through Langley last Friday?? It was a Red, fairly tidy looking one with standard Wheels and standard suspension. It's the first time i've seen another S12 on the road!

Nice one! I was driving that way home from work because the M25 was it's usual rubbish self! I was going to flash but then I remembered I wasn't in the 12! Would have just looked like a nutter

You've got a long way to go just for a college course! I live in Leighton Buzzard which is a fair way out from Langley but I cut through that way sometimes for a change of scenery!

At the moment is a fairly sorry looking Driveway ornament! However it's going to be a bit of a track toy before long. I've not bothered sorting out the MOT since I lowered it because the rear brakes are hanging on so I don't want to use it till that's well and truly sorted. I'm waiting for a set of poly subframe bushes and diff mount + LSD so that I can attack it over a weekend and do it all in one hit instead of taking things off the car every week. Then it's off to get the bodywork tidyed up and it should be a go'er

What plans have you got for yours? What you doing the Apprenticeship in?

i once saw another s12 in huntingdon back in the summer and also when i was in oxford some time in the middle of last year just before i bought mine. both were red and looked very standard. the one i saw in huntingdon looked like it was kept in a giant tupperware box it was soooo mint. the big RAC badge in the grill wasn't so cool. still the geezer who owned it was doing his shopping in tescos with his wife and two kids in it! not too many turbocharged rear wheel drive 80's sports coupe's you can do that with hey!

at the moment im tidying the bodywork/paintwork up, ive got the mudguards and front splitter off at the mo and am painting them black, which im hoping will look good. ive got a set of azev 'a' 17" alloys, which i am also reconditioning before i put on the car, plus ive also got a custom boost guage, manual boost controller and a FMIC to install
i also removed the aircon the other week - didnt work plus it saved loads of weight!
i think thats it for the mo.

my apprenticeship is in Building Services, i should have finished it at the end of the last academic year, but i failed a module so im carrying on just with the one module
