so what is the general conscensous then, see a lot of pros for MHGs, but if a standard one will cope with big BOOOOOOOOOOOST is it worth spending the extra when i already have a standard one with my head set...?Or just down to presonal preference?

pics of my current block with MIG wired groove around top of each bore. it essentially sits half in the block groove and then sticks half proud of the block deck surface. when a std headgasket is fitted to std torque settings, it basically doubles the clamping force around the fire rings in the HG without overtightening anywhere else on the head and block.
