just wondering if this oil would be ok in my s12, cos ive got a few bottles of it lying around? its 5 - 40 fully syn 76 oils??



sorry about the big pic
otherwise i will probably use 10-40 millers hi/fully syn?

Mostly is probably down to what people choose to regulalry use themselves.

I have always used castrol magnetec 10-40

the local chippie usualy gives me their used cooking oil...

works a treat..!

millers 10 60 on the ca18et or like shaun castrol rs as they both provide high temperature protection with excellent cold start characteristics.

I wouldnt go for a 5-40 personally

a 10w60 is proven to be unstable and breaks down to a 10w50 very quickly.

with a t2 and only minor mods a 5w40 or 10w40 would be ideal, using too thick an oil and not getting into it's ideal temperature range is a good way to make your engine struggle and lose power

I dont agree But yes a 10-40 would be suitable

But as Adz said personal preference
