Default Quick ask: MK2 ECU work on MK1?

Hi!
My car has got a mk1 ECU.
I don't have a rev limiter, can i swap the mk1 ECU by a mk2? Plug'n'play or need changes?
What are the differences? Pics of pins of them?
Cheers.

from what i've been told, if you want to use the rev limiter for drifting or similar where you may want to hold the car on the limiter for short periods your better off getting a omex or armtech one, as the one on the mk2 ecu is apparently rather harsh?
