Default Standard boost gauge

Hi when i switch my ignition on my stardard gauge goes up to 0 from -7 and thats where it stays no matter if i start the car or not or run it.
What should it do?? and what could be wrong??

have a look at the boost sensor. its in the engine bay near the turbo towards the bulk head. its a small black box it may have a steel cover, check if its plugged in or see if the pressure feed is conected

when you turn on the ignition, the needle should go to the 0 then with the engine at idle it should be just above the -7 then on boost it should go to half way (ish) between the 0 and the +7. when the ignition is off the needle parks at -7 near off the gauge.

mine sometimes is a bit sticky, a bang on the dash above it normally sorts this out.
