Default M.p.g ?

OK just wondering if anyone knew roughly what mpg a box standard S12 will get
At the moment £10 gets me about forty miles ? just doesn't seem right to me , but then my last car was a wee little 1.2 run about that got fifty miles to a fiver lol

Depends how you drive it really , i would have thought you would get more than 40 miles from a tenner though When you fill up have you checked for a wet trail left on the road behind you

yeah mine is about 40 miles to a tenner of super max! but i think the auto ones do use a bit more than a manual. i once went through a 40 quid fill up in 150 miles! though that was fast drivin round bendy lanes with hills!

After sorting a boost leak i just got 150 miles and the tank is showing half full. Before I got about 240 miles before It was showing empty ..reckon i'm getting about 30 mpg now on shell v-power
I'm going to try dropping the fuel pressure off boost to give me a bit more economy when i'm pootling about around town.

I reckon a 4.5 V8 range rover could just about manage 40 miles on a tenner you guys must have heavy right feet
