Default What do you guys think??

I have been offerd an S12

I havent seen the car yet, but it sounds very good

Heres what the guy has told me about it...

"its a red 88 S12 MkII. Body is dead straigfht with no rust at all, and no dents. Car has done about 90K IIRC but has an exhaustive service history (even has the ads it was bought from )
Its been out of MoT for probably about 5 months now, but I still drive it every few weeks just to keep it working.

It has the following nice bits:

T25 turbo at 15 PSI, MK III Supra FMIC (custom install - very tidy), custom 2.5 inch exhaust (loud!), ported head, S13 throttle body, S13 clutch, ND frton and rear lowering springs, uprated rear subframe bushes, despoilered, rear wiper removed, clear side indicators and a few other bits. It drives just fine, and you might even find a different garage would let it through the MoT

I had it dyno'd at 188 hp/197 lb/ft IIRC but that was on the T2 - with the T25 Id expect about 200 bhp. Its quite a lot quicker than a standard S13, and handles better too. Interior and exterior are pretty much immaculate, but it could do with a polish. At the moment its on 15 inch 5 spokes, and would probably benefit from a decent cone filter (I nicked the one on it for my S13!!)

As it stands, Id be looking for about £600 ideally - the exhaust and FMIC cost nearly that by themselves. Its a good reliable car, which never missed a beat for me, and with a decent set of rims and a polish will come up lovely - it used to get a lot of attention at JAE etc. just because its different."

Im not clued up on the prices of S12's but from what i have seen, with mot and tax they fetch around £600. Granted thats for a standard one.

Going on what he has said, would you say thats a fare price???

i know theres no pictures to se what the car looks like, but say its as mint as he describes, would you be happy to pay £600 for it?

Thanks for any input.

Stu.
