Default Over heating turbo issues???

The guy who I bought car from has told me that I have to put an additive in the fuel to lower the fuel octane level otherwise the turbo starts to over heat and that?s how his last turbo blew.

Any help would be great.

you don't want to lower the octane, if anything, you run higher octane fuel, 97 or above.

yeah 97 or above is what you should run on, so BP ultimate, Shell V Power, or Tesco super which is highest octane at 99, or just get some bio ethnol which is about 125 or something crazy
