Default No side or dash lights.

Was getting my S12 ready for it's new owner

Hooked up a brand new battery, switched the lights on, and they went off again after a few seconds. All fuses appear to be fine and the headlights and indicators all work fine.

I now have no sidelights, dash lights or tail-lights.

Are there any hidden fuses or relays I need to be looking for?

thanks in Advance.

Would they be in the small box behind the headlight?
It used to have writing on it, but it's worn off.

Hiya,
If all your fuses are okay, then it does sound like a fusible link. I think there should be four of them. One for the headlight motor, one for the ignition relay, one for the lights that are not working and not sure about the fourth one . I had a similar problem with my car, the connection on the fusible link had got corroded.
Hope some of this helps.
Regards,
Ian.
